Welded pipes from TubiSteel Srl are produced using different grades of 300-series stainless steel (including Super Duplex, Duplex, Titanium, etc.) and formed longitudinally using Submerged Arc, Plasma Arc or TIG welding processes.

The production and processing of welded pipes includes both square and round shapes. Square pipes may also have rectangular sections and are manufactured in custom sizes. Round pipes typically range from 3 mm to 50 mm in thickness and 5 cm to 3.5 meters in length.

Welded pipes are usually made from metal strips gradually shaped into a tube by rollers and cages; the longitudinal seam is then welded by a welding unit located after the forming system.

As for finishing, several options are available. The standard treatment is pickling, but polishing, satin finishing, and weld bead removal can also be applied.

AISI 316 welded stainless steel pipes represent the combination of advanced technologies and cutting-edge machinery. They are suitable for a wide range of industries and applications—agriculture, pulp and paper, food, refineries, extraction, chemicals, petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals.

Producing high-quality welded pipes requires strict procedural standards and certified premium materials. Two main welding types can be used: TIG (without filler metal) and HF (high-frequency induction). Laser welding is also available.
